Get comfortable and listen to or watch some of our past concerts, including the March 28, 2007, performance of The Delta Winds, a 110-member ensemble formed specially to play at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The Delta Winds was comprised of members of the Lodi, Tracy, and Brentwood Community Bands, as well as very talented high school students from the area who auditioned successfully .
Membership in the Stockton Concert Band is open to all area musicians in high school or older. We rehearse during the school year on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in Holt 113 on the San Joaquin Delta College campus. Enrollment in the college is required and during the first four semesters of membership, we ask that you enroll for one unit of college credit at a cost of $20 per semester. (If that presents a hardship for you, please speak with our director.) High school musicians must be concurrently enrolled in their school’s band program, and obtain permission to enroll from their band director and principal. Forms may be obtained at our first rehearsal each semester.
